Ward’s celebrated vocals have developed
more depth and purpose, and the melodies settle in the cortex
and cannot be shaken. But above all it is the songwriting,
the majesty of the lyrics, and the passion for life’s
truths that take hold of our spirits as we bathe in the “Wonderlight.” Diane
truly loves what she does and the fact that she still gets
excited and buzzed from playing with others

hearts and ears everywhere she goes. Her original songs take
listeners on a ride through precocious humor, disarming self-deprecation,

An artist’s signature is often defined in several different ways.
It can either be a name, a mark or an indiscernable
scribble or a way of setting an image in a familiar
fashion, recognizable to their audience. My signature lies in
my brush stroke. Sometimes the idea or message is more important
than
the finished product. The inner workings of the mind can truly
represent an artist and define them.

There is no denying that the music industry
spells glitz and glamour....but it goes hand and hand with
stress: mental, emotional and most of all, physical. Thus,
as you try your very best to achieve your full potential
as a performing artist, you must not allow your health to
take a back seat. Cliche as it may sound, but the saying "Health
is wealth" remains true even for rockstars. |

A talent management company is the boat
in which talented music artists, actors, and performers sail
and reach their destination. Its primary job is to provide
enough exposure to the artists; but the problem is - not every
other artist is lucky enough to be recruited by these entertainment
agencies. There are several factors they consider before/while
selecting a music artist and promoting their skills.

Can you keep perfect time with a metronome
or play 3/4 over 4/4? If you cannot keep time with a metronome,
how can you expect to keep time with a band and be a “groove
master”? When you hear a melody, can you play it immediately
back on your instrument? When you bend a note, is it completely
in tune throughout the entire bend?

One method to expand your audience is
to serve as a support act for a known headliner on multiple
tour dates or to open a single show for a larger act. These
are choice slots and many bands are vying for them. Sometimes
you can get lucky and be at the right place and the right time.
If you are more interested in process rather than chance, here
are three methods to follow that may land you these choice
support performance slots.
