KC has never moved farther than 10 miles away from his birthplace and the birthplace of his legendary music underlines the fact that he is proud that his "Sunshine Sound" has flourished continuously for over 37 years.

Born in Cuba and raised in Spain and the US, Chris Alvy is making a mark on the Miami music scene. The Chris Alvy Band captures the vintage 70’s rock sound and combines it with an alternative edge with brilliant results. Honesty and attitude in every lyric, with each gut punch guitar riff paying homage to it's heroic inspiration - confirming rock and rock is not dead and rocking hard.

In The Biz:

If you are planning an event such as a wedding or corporate event then the entertainment will be high on your list of priorities. Getting it right could be the key to a successful event - get it wrong and it could be a disaster! So when considering the entertainment how can you ensure you get quality acts?

All too often new artists record like the superstars; lock yourself away in some nice bedroom, record the complete album and then go platinum. If you are recording your first 2-3 albums, market test the tracks with your focus group as you go along so that they can offer advice in a way that makes your album more acceptable to the required audience.

The cliche of the ill-schooled and irresponsible musician does not contribute to our collective reputation and the supply of available gigs. Many gigs have been lost to DJ’s because agents and clients have been burned too many times by inconsiderate musicians.

If you are married and have children, forget it! (I'm just kidding babe). No, really, if you can afford it get a wood or metal shed and put it in your backyard! Finding the right spot should not be that hard to do; you already have one in mind. It might be as simple as an unused closet (if there is such an animal), or a spare bedroom.

Search Engine Optimization or SEO for short, is a popular, though widely misunderstood, topic for any company or business that operates a website. Since music promotion in the 21st century is also centered on the internet, it's also a topic more and more bands and artists are turning their attention to.
