The Handcuffs embody the spirit of rock music's uninhibited, sexy and overbearing appeal. A perfect blend of style and energy. They do not sound like anyone else, but at the same time they seem very familiar. They are influenced by everything good that sells and anything good that doesn't. Rock music is loud (not just in volume, but in its nature), pompous and fun - and The Handcuffs embrace every reckless minute of it.

Hot off the release of their self-titled debut, Miami based band Falseta is a solidified sound force. They musically take you on a journey of melodies, harmonies and heavy rifts, all neatly wrapped in the astounding showmanship of seasoned professionals. Romulo Bernal, drummer and founder of Falseta sums it up as, “Aggressive polyrhythmic music combined with melodic voicings, which come together to conceive our musical style.”

In The Biz:

The Internet has changed everything, with digital mp3 sites popping up in vast numbers every year which allows artists and small digital labels to release and promote their own music, bypassing the big records labels. I still think that the bigger record companies are an essential part of an artists career, taking them to the next level. However, most record companies prefer the artist to develop their own career by online promotion with social networking sites, digital distribution, online radio stations, blogs and websites. In fact, there are so many avenues available to the musician, band and artist today.

Making money from your music - quickly, safely, in as many ways possible - is critical if you want to continue funding your dream without continually taking cash out of your own pocket. If you are an unsigned artist or producer still searching for your big break - these ideas can help you finance or pursue your dreams, to get closer to that major signing - or other paid opportunities

A contract from a record label may seem like the hardest thing in the world to attain. In a world full of people seeking an elusive contract, there's got to be some way to achieve fame and fortune. The first thing that's worth noting, and here is where many artists go wrong, is that the music industry sees music as a product to be bought and sold: A band has to be not only talented but marketable as well.

No, you're not. That's not because your songs aren't good, or you're look isn't right, or any of that other stuff artists tend to over think. It's simply because most musicians tend to forget what half of the "Music Business" is. Business. (And to be honest the balance between "music" and "business" is really more like 20-80, favoring business.)

Carrying out vocal warm ups is no different in principle, to an athlete warming up their muscles before competing or training. As a singer, you are heavily relying on both technique and muscle support to assist you in getting the very best from your voice and if you do not train and maintain those muscles, (especially your diaphragm), then you cannot expect them to function to their full capacity. You need to give them the necessary care and attention, not only to enhance your performance, but to avoid short-term or long-term injury.
