They now needed a name to represent
the group—they needed it quicka bunch of papers with
poems and song ideas scribbled on them. He was writing a book
of sci-fi / fantasy poetry and was hoping the title, Tinsel
Swain.the music, online comic, and sci-fi/fantasy novel would
suit.

The Kinected is an original four piece group who's sound
is somewhat of a hybrid. They blend pop, funk, and rock with
an electro edge. The music features well-crafted songwriting
sensibility with intelligent, relatable lyrics. The songs
contain several hooks, both rhythmic and melodic, that seamlessly
groove together to form this unique sound.

Guitarist Mitch Perry has spent the last 25 years working alongside
some of the most renowned and popular musicians in the world.
Through his recording and touring experience with such popular
and diverse acts ranging from the Michael Schenker Group to Cher,
Mitch has accumulated a vast wealth of knowledge and experience
that has inevitably led to him fronting his own projects.

StoneWorks is a mix of my life long personal
interest and coincidence.These picks have been millions of
years in the making. They have survived ice ages, being mined
out of the ground, being cut with diamond saws in the shop,
and multiple stress tests. Each pick is a one of a kind piece
of functional art.

This project was something put together in
response to the ongoing frustration with the perpetuation
of the myth that being signed to a record label is the way
in which you achieve success as a musician. Most of the time,
the complete opposite is true. The thought that maybe if
EVERYONE was “signed”,
then there could be no stigma attached to the notion of being “unsigned”.
And so that’s what this site is all about.

move. Big tours, little tours. A cast of hundreds or a couple
of guys in a van. Some will travel in luxury while others are
lucky to get a per diem and a shared room.

You have immense musical
talent. You write your own songs, and you make wonderful music.
You know that with your songs, you can rock an arena of more
than 5,000 people. You have great music, and there is no doubt
that your songs have a great potential of topping the charts.
But why are there no people attending your gigs? What is wrong?

Songwriting, or writing songs
and creating melody - is about doing two main things. Telling
a story to your listeners in a way that creates an emotional
experience, and crafting the chords, groove, and melody to
deliver and effectively enhance that message.
