If you accept the premise put forth by Keith
Richards that the title of "greatest rock and roll band
in the world" is determined on a nightly basis, then we want
to tell you about a guy that owned it on quite a few
nights, a band that, for a variety of reasons,
fell through the cracks and never got the recognition they
deserved.

The crossover from
graphic designer to fine artist has been a process that
has taken many years and continues to this day. Early on
Julio became interested in combining form and concept to
create the perfect balance between art and idea to captivate
an audience and from an advertising perspective to motivate. His
collection 'HEROS' stands as a tribute to some of his idols.

Cat Shell, Miami Beach resident, has been
playing music in South Florida since 2007. Since her start,
Cat has progressed from throwback Jazz & Blues to
a more grown up sound that mixes R&B, Pop, and Neo-Soul.
Her sound is sophisticated but laid-back, sexy but not over
the top. For the past year, Cat has been working on
her sophomore album "Illusion" due
out tin early 2012.

We would like to share
our condolences during this sad time with the passing of
our friend Bobby. Bobby was a great musician who was respected
by all his peers, many friends and fans. One of the kindest
people in the South Florida scene, Bobby will be sorely missed
and remembered by all he came in contact with throughout
his life. Our blessings go to his family and may the love
for Bobby in our hearts be with you. We
will miss you friend.

When a file is exported
too hot, the result is that there is no variation between
the louder sections and the parts that are supposed to
softer. The reason is that in digital music production,
there is a ceiling to how loud a track can be, this is
referred to as the zero attenuation point and roughly corresponds
to the 'red line' maximum level on the output slider

Chances also are that you are unknowingly
spamming thousands of people and turning people away from your
band rather than turning them on to your band. It's not your
fault. Everyone is doing it. However, if we want to turn this
around we need to get classy rather than feed this intensive
devaluation of independent music.

Being in a band is generally
a very positive experience. You get to be creative, challenge
your musical skills, play on a stage and hang out with friends
but there are many scenarios that can lead you to want to quit
a band. You might not have enough time any more through work
or other life commitments, you might have creative differences
in the band and want to go off and do something different,
you may have fallen out with other members of the band or you
may even have an injury that means you can't play anymore.
